Hilton Head Bicycle Company receives national designation

Hilton Head Bicycle Company was recognized by the League of American Bicyclists with a Bronze Bicycle Friendly Business award for its promotion of bicycling on Hilton Head Island and for encouraging their employees to reduce their carbon footprint by using a bike.

More than 1,200 businesses nationwide have received this designation.

“Hilton Head Bicycle Company encourages bicycling as an easy option for transportation and provides amenities such as bike washing and maintenance and inside storage of bikes plus incentives such as wholesale pricing to employees,” according to a press release.

Hilton Head Bicycle Company will now have access to a variety of tools and technical assistance from the league.
