Chamber of Commerce to celebrate Small Business Week

The Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Small Business Week celebration May 9-12.

▪  May 9, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.: “Pork in the Parking Lot” member appreciation barbecue at chamber headquarters, 1 Chamber of Commerce Drive, Hilton Head. Free for chamber members.

▪  May 10, noon to 1 p.m.: “Tech Tuesday” with Keely Saye, inbound marking expert. Free for chamber members.

▪  May 11, noon: “Business Golf Classic” at Wexford Plantation.

▪  May 12, 3 to 4:30 p.m.: “Women’s Leadership Tea” at Hampton Lake with speaker Joni Vanderslice, owner and president of J Banks Design Group. $15 for chamber members; $20 for nonmembers. Cost includes entry to the Bluffton Block Party.

▪  May 12, 5:30 to 7 p.m.: Bluffton Block Party at the chamber’s Bluffton headquarters’ courtyard at the corner of Bluffton and May River roads. Food by Captain Woody’s, live music from Muddy Creek, bourbon tasting by The Roasting Room and complimentary beer and wine. Hosted by group46. $10 for chamber members; $20 for nonmembers
