Cuban restaurant Rancho Alegre coming to Bluffton

Savannah’s popular Cuban restaurant Rancho Alegre will soon open for business in Bluffton.

The restaurant, which has served up Cuban, Carribbean and Spanish food on Martin Luther King Boulevard for 17 years, announced earlier this month it would be launching its second location on Bluffton Parkway, behind the Enmark, by early June.

The business said on Facebook this week that it is nearly finished with its remodel of 4490 Bluffton Park Crescent, which briefly housed the Cajun and Creole restaurant Crescent City Cafe in 2014.

The restaurant carries a 4-star rating on sites like Yelp, Facebook, Trip Advisor and Open Table.

Appetizers at the current location range from $4 for ham croquettes to $18 for serano ham with manchego cheese and chorizo. Entrees run from about $8 to $30, and include Cuban-style pot roast, whole fried Red Snapper, paella and the classic Cuban sandwich.
