Summer job fair to be held for Hilton Head high school students

The Hilton Head Island Economic Development Corporation will host a summer job fair for Hilton Head Island high school students from 9 a.m. to noon April 30 in the cafeteria at Hilton Head Island High School, 70 Wilborn Road.

There is no charge for business owners to exhibit, but they should register before April 27 to participate. Student participation is limited to students at any of Hilton Head’s public or private schools.

“Several business owners told me they were having difficulty finding summer workers, and at the same time I was hearing from members of the community that their children were seeking summer jobs. I reached out to the Hilton Head Island Economic Development Corporation to help quickly organize the event,” said Marc Grant, a Hilton Head Island Town Council member.
