Architecture firm has new name, second location

The Court Atkins Group, formerly Court Atkins Architects Inc., has opened a second office on Hilton Head Island.

The south-end studio, at 2 Corpus Christi Place, is the former address of island architect Tom Crews. Crews has joined the firm as a senior architect and bring 30-plus years of Lowcountry experience in design and business development.

The new name reflects the growth of the firm’s staff which now includes 30 employees, a company news release said.

The Hilton Head studio is open for business from of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The firm’s interior design studio is in Bluffton’s Plantation Park.
