Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber Ball to be Feb. 27

The Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce will host the 2016 Chamber Ball this weekend at The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa.

The event, at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 27, will include dining, dancing, entertainment and awards to honor individuals and organizations in the community.

This year’s emcee is James Cunningham, comedian and host of Cooking Channel’s “Eat St.” Cunningham was previously featured on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and has entertained corporate and comedy club audiences around the world.

The gala will feature a V.I.P. cocktail reception prior to the awards presentation and include a special Chamber Young Professionals reception as well as live entertainment by local band Deas Guyz.

At the ball, the chamber will present awards, including The Alice Glenn Doughtie Good Citizenship award and the Outstanding Organization of the Year award. The chamber will also honor the Bluffton Regional Business Council Member of the Year, the Zonta Woman of the Year and the Sue West Educator of the Year.
