Staff notes: FirstService Residential names executive director of Sun City community association

FirstService Residential has named Sherman Britton as the Sun City Hilton Head Community Association executive director.

Britton has more than 30 years of experience with long-range planning, analyzing and streamlining operations and work-flow processes, and project management. He comes to Sun City Hilton Head from Buford, Ga., where he owned and operated C&S Management, a consulting firm that focuses on the hospitality and community-management industries.

Prior to owning his company, Britton worked as a community manager for communities in Georgia and California.

He is also a member of the Community Associations Institute and Rotary International. Britton has a bachelor of science degree in organizational leadership and management.
