Hilton Head Island chamber seeks award nominations

The Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for the Alice Glenn Doughtie Good Citizenship Award and the Outstanding Organization of the Year Award.

The awards will be announced at the 2016 Chamber Ball on Feb. 27 at The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa.

Completed nomination forms must be received by 5 p.m. Jan. 15.

The Good Citizenship Award recognizes individuals who have performed "selfless community service in the spirit of brotherhood."

The Outstanding Organization Award is presented to any civic, business, service or fraternal group in recognition of significant contributions to the well-being of the Lowcountry.

Nomination forms are available at chamber headquarters or at www.hiltonheadblufftonchamber.org. Nomination forms for Zonta's Woman of the Year are also available at the chamber.
