United Way at 76 percent of goal

United Way of the Lowcountry is at 76 percent it's $2.5 million dollar goal, the organization said Friday.

The organization raises money to serve over 32,000 people in the Lowcountry through direct services and financial support of programs addressing the health, education and basic needs of the community.
