CEO named for Hilton Head Island-based hospitality professionals group

Rob Fulton of Harrisburg, Pa., has been named Chief Executive Officer of Hilton Head Island-based Association of Independent Hospitality Professionals.

Fulton will oversee day-to-day operations of the association, implement policies set by the board of directors, increase membership and lead advocacy efforts within the hospitality industry.

AIHP, a relatively new organization, promotes and supports the sustainability of small lodging hospitality establishments through networking, advocacy, professional development and progressive business practices.

Fulton was formerly president of the Pennsylvania Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus and its 49 tourist promotion agencies. He obtained his bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University and is a graduate of the Chamber of Commerce Institute.
