Savannah airport tightens parking enforcement

If you're flying in or out of Savannah-Hilton Head Airport during the holidays expect to see stricter enforcement of terminal curbside parking due to tighter security.

The tougher parking enforcement will begin Tuesday and will remain in effect through the holidays, an airport news release said. Curbside parking at the terminal is prohibited beyond the immediate dropping off or picking up of passengers. Vehicles left unattended may be ticketed or towed or both.

Parking on the shoulders around the airport is also prohibited.
