CareCore changes name, logo

Bluffton-based Care Core has changed its name.

The managed-care company will now be called eviCore, according to a news release Friday.

The launch of a new name and brand "will help advance the company's commitment to containing health care costs and achieving quality medical outcomes," the release said.

The change follows a merger of CareCore and MedSolutions. The new name also comes with a new logo.
