Hilton Head Toastmasters advance in speech competition

Four Hilton Head Toastmasters will move to the next round of the International Speech and Table Topics competition after the club contest that was held March 6.

Paul Glick won the Table Topics event. Rex Gale took second place.

In the prepared speeches, Tom Drago won first place. Second place was captured by Fran Reed.

The top two in each category advance to the Area 15 contest. Local speech winners advance and ultimately compete for the international crown if they continue to win. The Table Topics competition culminates at the state level.
