Charbar takes burger honors for 3rd year

Charbar Co. won the People's Choice Award for the best burger Saturday at the Hilton Head Burgers & Brew Festival.

Nine restaurants competed in the event at Shelter Cove Community Park, with Charbar winning for the third consecutive year.

All event proceeds benefit the Hilton Head Island Recreation Association's Children's Scholarship Fund and the University of South Carolina Beaufort's hospitality program, according to a news release.
