Former WIS-TV anchor joins chamber staff

Hannah Horne, former WIS-TV news anchor and reporter, has joined the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce as director of public policy and small business.

Horne was the morning news anchor and a reporter for the Columbia station for 12 years, according to a news release. She was nominated for "Best of Columbia" anchor in 2012 and received a Southeast Emmy nomination for "Best Newscast" in 2010.

Before joining WIS, Horne was business-development manager for the S.C. Film Commission.
