Palmetto Bluff now offers visitor bike rentals
Palmetto Bluff is now offering bike rentals to its neighbors.
The community invites visitors to take a bike through its 20,000 acres, which include historic architecture, wildlife and views of the May River.
Visitors will receive a map of the property and be given directions to key points along their ride, including the History Center, Conservancy, Buffalo's Books & Bakery, the chapel, the public dock, the Wilson Treehouse, bird island and the duck pond.
Rates are $15 for four hours and $20 for eight hours. An additional $10 is charged for bike attachments, such as a caboose or tag-along.
The bike rental office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Call 843-706-6500.
