Higher Ground changes ownership

Tim Lovett is the new owner of Higher Ground, the outdoor retailer in Beaufort Town Center.

Lovett has more than 19 years of local retail experience, including at Sportsman's Shop in Beaufort.

Previous owners Ashley and Shelby Bishop started the business in the old bus station on Boundary Street in 2004 and moved to the Town Center in 2006.
