Children's bookstore to open in old town Bluffton

The Storybook Shoppe children's bookstore is scheduled to open in old town Bluffton on Nov. 26.

Owner Nancy Beaupre has a bachelor's degree in child development and has owned and operated several nursery schools and a children's bookstore in Michigan.

The Storybook Shoppe's location in the Habersham Marketplace near Beaufort will close, but Beaupre will have an office and a small collection of books at 30 Market St., Habersham Marketplace, that will be open by appointment.

The Storybook Shoppe will also carry hand-crafted toys and cards for children. Beaupre also plans on holding a variety of special events, including story times and book signings.

The Bluffton store at 41A Calhoun St. will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
