National bank chain expanding to Hilton Head
An old bank building on Hilton Head is getting a second life.
Chase Bank has submitted plans to alter the former Regions Bank building near Indigo Run.
Work will be done on both the interior and exterior of the building to prepare it for opening, according to design documents.
The roof and all windows will be replaced. Several interior walls will be demolished to open up the floor space.
The building will no longer have a drive-up window, but a drive-though ATM will be installed.
The former Regions Bank closed its doors in November 2022 when the company consolidated its Hilton Head and Bluffton branches.
