Oysters the focus of Beaufort + Port Royal’s annual Restaurant Week. Here are the deals
The Beaufort Oyster Festival sets the theme for Beaufort and Port Royal’s annual Restaurant Week, which is set to run from Thursday, Jan. 11, through Sunday, Jan. 21.
Dubbed “Tides to Tables” Restaurant Week, the event celebrates oysters served in a plethora of ways, such as on pizza, with grits or traditionally steamed on the half shell.
The Oyster Festival itself, created by the Beaufort Area Hospitality Association, is in its fourth year. The main events of “Festival Weekend” happen Jan. 20-21 at Henry Chambers Waterfront Park in downtown Beaufort. There’s a 5K, a cornhole tournament and live music, plus food vendors.
Following is a list of restaurants known to be participating in Tides to Tables Restaurant Week as of Thursday, Jan. 11. Check back often, as this story will be updated when more restaurants and menus are announced.
