A new shopping plaza is coming to Buckwalter. And it will have a restaurant.
A 15,000-square-foot retail center is planned for a plot of land next to the Bluffton Bojangles on Buckwalter, according to a Realtor for the land.
Tom DeMint, a partner with Sperry Van Ness, said the property’s buyer plans to build a space for several tenants.
A restaurant is already planned to fill one of the units, DeMint said. No further details were available about the restaurant on Thursday.
Bojangles, which opened in late 2016, sits to one side of the retail center. The land to the other side of the center is owned by Optim Orthopedics.
An Optim Orthopedics health center is currently under construction.
