Bluffton business celebrates 10 years with 10 random acts of kindness
Covert Aire, a Bluffton heating and cooling company, is performing 10 random acts of kindness to celebrate 10 years in business.
“Instead of doing a party for a 10-year anniversary, we decided to take that energy and those funds and do 10 random acts of kindness,” Melanie Thomas, executive assistant for the company’s owner, said Friday.
The acts are all being completed in July, she said. The company had completed eight acts as of Friday.
Thomas gave a few hints as to what the final two acts will be, though. One will include a grocery store and another a teacher.
Here are the acts already completed by the company:
▪ Lunch was purchased for customers inside Island Bagel.
▪ Free glasses of sweet tea were passed out at the Bluffton Farmers Market.
▪ Quarters and laundry detergent were passed out at Bluffton Coin Laundry.
▪ Haircuts were paid for the customers inside Sun City Great Clips.
▪ Breakfast and coffee were paid for the customers inside Corner Perk.
▪ Tennis balls were thrown out for dogs at an area dog park.
▪ Candy and Popsicles were passed out at Sun City.
▪ A working single mother received a $200 gas card and a week’s worth of childcare was paid for.
Covert Aire is at 39 Persimmon St. Suite 602. It is open 24 hours a day Mondays-Fridays.
