Another establishment has left the Hilton Head Island restaurant scene.

Pizza Hut at 1 Plaza Drive has closed, according to a sign posted outside the delivery parlor.

Excluding a dumpster and two large shipping containers, the parking lot of the eatery was vacant Friday afternoon.

The closest Pizza Hut in the area is located at 50 Burnt Church Road in Bluffton.

Corporate Pizza Hut representatives could not be reached for comment Friday.
