Too warm here for a North Face store? Not so fast ...
Whether you’re ready for the seasons to change or not, you should prepare for the transition that’s coming to Tanger Outlets Hilton Head this fall. Six retailers will open at the centers by Black Friday, according to Tanger Outlets officials, and one of them is bringing a little Northern style.
Ashley Doepp, the general manager of the outlets, said The North Face Outlet will open Oct. 7 in Tanger 2 between Build-A-Bear Workshop Outlet and Sketchers.
To celebrate its grand opening, the store will offer 30 percent off all sale items Oct. 7-9, according to Doepp.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve already made a game plan for that weekend.
A few people I’ve spoken with about The North Face Outlet opening have wondered how a store popular in the North and centered around cold weather will survive in the South. Though I’ve used most of my gear from the store to survive Midwestern winters during my college years, The North Face was plenty popular when I lived in Atlanta, which doesn’t get too much colder than here.
There are also plenty of clothing options for working out, outdoor gear and, of course, the most comfortable backpacks I’ve ever used. Not to mention it’ll be a great store to prepare for any kind of hiking or vacation in North Carolina. I couldn’t have survived New Year’s in Asheville without my fleece jacket from the retailer.
The North Face Outlet will open the same day as a new Vineyard Vines Outlet in Tanger 1.
