Not sure what to go as this Halloween? A new store in Bluffton can help you with that

We’re only weeks away from candy indulging and Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” re-enactments. That’s right, folks, Halloween is upon us and there’s a new store at the Tanger Outlets Hilton Head where you can get all your ghoul-like decorations.

Spirit Halloween is now open in Tanger 2 next to Abercrombie & Fitch. The seasonal store, where you can buy costumes that range from adult Crayon to the Harley Quinn character from the movie “Suicide Squad,” will remain open through Halloween, according to Tanger Outlets general manager Ashley Doepp.

After that, there are plans to add another retailer at the location, but not until 2017.

“It takes a while to prepare any store,” Doepp said.

For those of you who’ve never had the chance to shop at a Spirit Halloween, it’s like a spooky superstore that has everything you could possibly need for Oct. 31. Take it from someone who’s helped create a neighborhood haunted house out of a garage — you can get enough fog machines and fake blood here to last a lifetime.

It’s also (unfortunately) the retailer that caused Halloween costume outrage on social media for offering a Caitlyn Jenner costume last year.

Whether you’re a parent looking for a quick solution to your child’s picky costume preferences, you have a tacky Halloween work party to attend or you’re looking for a political mask to hold onto for Election Day, Spirit Halloween will have more than a few options.

But this isn’t the only store to open up in Tanger 2; Auntie Anne’s opened its second location next to the Starbucks and there’s news of four other retailers on the way to the outlets.
