Shelter Cove Farmers Market to open

The Shelter Cove Park Farmers Market will be held every Tuesday, starting April 29.

The market's hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at Shelter Cove Community Park on Hilton Head Island. It will end Oct. 28. Beginning June 17, the hours will be extended to 9 p.m. until Aug. 12.

The market will feature as many as 30 vendors selling local produce, artwork, baked goods and specialty foods, according to the Island Recreation Association, which sponsors the market.
