Forbes Travel Guide gives top awards to these Hilton Head-area hotels
The Forbes Travel Guide has announced its 2026 Star Awards Winners, and two Hilton Head-area hotels are on the list. The Inn & Club at Harbour Town has received a four-star award for the 17th consecutive year according to a press release.
The 60-room inn, located in the Sea Pines Resort on the southern tip of Hilton Head Island, boasts “oversized” guest rooms, all-day bar service and complimentary fresh-baked goods. Sea Pines offers five miles of beaches, championship golf, tennis and pickleball facilities and a 600-acre forest preserve.
Montage Palmetto Bluff, a luxury resort in Bluffton, received a five-star award — FTG’s highest rating.
Two of Montage Palmetto Bluff’s amenities, the River House restaurant and Spa Montage Palmetto Bluff, received separate four-star awards.
Forbes Travel Guide Star Awards are awarded each year. Anonymous inspectors stay at hotels for a minimum of two nights and evaluate properties using up to 900 criteria, according to Forbes Travel Guide. Inspectors pay their own way — Forbes Travel Guide states that “no one can buy a rating.”
