Marriott Hilton Head Resort and Spa rebranded. Here’s what the hotel is instead

The former Marriott Hilton Head Resort & Spa, located in Palmetto Dunes, rebranded as Hilton Beachfront Resort & Spa Hilton Head Island Friday, according to a press release.

Guests who booked with Marriott before March 1 have been transitioned to Hilton. Hilton and Marriott are separate companies with no shared ownership. The resort is the only Hilton-branded full-service resort within 200 miles of Hilton Head Island.

The brand change follows a multi-million-dollar renovation of over 500 guest rooms and the recent updating of the resort’s restaurants and venue space.
