Sun City Hilton Head will add additional homes and a new $45 million amenity complex in the western half of the community by 2026. The developer, Del Webb, plans to build 76 single-story homes in Sun City West, the newest developed section of the 55-plus community off Sundance Drive, according to a press release from Sun City.

At about 1,360 square feet each, both floor plans feature two bedrooms and two full baths, an open concept kitchen, and a two-car garage. The starting price for each home is under $350,000.

Two homes with the Brilliance floor plan are expected to be complete by next month for those looking to move in soon.

The land where these homes will be built was already owned by Sun City, according to Randy Ziffer, a communications representative for the community. The new homes will be surrounded on either side by areas marked as “future development.”

Carter Faucette, a general sales manager at Pulte Group, said that it was still unclear how many homes could be developed in these areas.

The new, two-building amenity complex is expected to open in 2026. The 42,150 square foot clubhouse can accommodate gatherings of up to 500 people. The two-story fitness center will have indoor pool and courts for pickleball, tennis, volleyball and basketball and will have space for exercise classes, spin and yoga. An outdoor amphitheater, indoor track, outdoor sun deck and a game room with billiards and arcade games will also be found at the complex.
