Here is what is planned for the former 843 Restaurant spot on Hilton Head
Gusto Ristorante, an Italian restaurant, plans to open in the former 843 Restaurant on Hilton Head Island next month.
The restaurant’s menu will be inspired by the “vibrant flavors” of Rome – the hometown of executive chef and owner Giancarlo Balestra.
The restaurant will have a full bar, extensive wine list and offer al fresco dining on a garden patio.
Balestra and his wife, Nancy, have owned restaurants in Aspen, Colo., Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and Winter Park, Fla.
“They fell in love with Hilton Head while visiting the island serendipitously at the moment the former 843 restaurant location became available,” a news release states. “They decided to jump into this new exciting culinary adventure.”
The restaurant is in the Fresh Market Plaza on Hilton Head.
An exact opening date has not been announced.
