Hey y’all, Paula Deen is back on the air

Love her or hate her, Paula Deen is back with a new cooking show, “Positively Paula,” now streaming on Roku.

The show, with two seasons of episodes available for viewing online, takes a healthier approach to food — Deen goes vegan in two episodes and pays homage to Chef Julia Child in another. The show is filmed in and around Deen’s Savannah, Georgia, home and features Deen and an occasional guest chef or celebrity cooking alongside her in the kitchen.

Deen was let go by The Food Network in 2013 and lost lucrative endorsements from companies such as Walmart, Sears and Kmart after being accused of racial discrimination in a lawsuit and admitting to using a racial slur.

Known for her over the top use of butter and her calorie-heavy dishes, Deen also hid her diabetes from her fans until after she signed a million dollar deal with the drug company Novo Nordisk.

Fans of Deen can watch episodes of “Positively Paula” or check out recipes from the show at www.positivelypaula.tv Check local listings for cable show times.
