Hilton Head’s Pool Bar Jim is coming back, and these folks can’t wait

During the summer, the bartender at the Marriott Grande Ocean Resort on Hilton Head cut ties with his longtime employer. And vacationers that had grown to know and love Jim Lisenby over his 20-plus years at the resort were left confused and heartbroken.

But Jim isn’t staying out of the spotlight for long. News broke earlier this week that he has long-term plans to return behind a bar, and short-term plans to be part of a one-day event at Captain Woody’s.

That put smiles on many local faces. Here’s just a sample of the response we received from our Facebook page.
