Submitted

If you’ve got little ones who love big trucks, you won’t want to miss an upcoming event coming up at Tanger Outlets this weekend.

The shopping center will host “Touch-a-Truck” from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday April 2, at Tanger 1 Outlet Center, 1256 Fording Island Road, Bluffton.

Children of all ages are invited to climb inside and explore a variety of trucks and vehicles including those from the Bluffton Township Fire Department, the Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, Palmetto Electric and the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.

Should the event get rained out, a rain date is set for 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday April 3.

Admission is free. However, attendees are encouraged to bring school supplies to help “stock a bus” for the Beaufort County School District. For a full list of supplies requested visit www.beaufort.k12.sc.us.

All children will receive a free Tanger gift while supplies, and attendees and donors will receive coupons for spring shopping at Tanger Outlets.
