‘Gullah People’ to cover history and future of Sea Island culture
The Heritage Library will present “Gullah People” at 10:30 a.m. June 7 at 852 William Hilton Parkway on Hilton Head Island.
The presentation will begin with how the Gullah were brought to the area, how their culture has flourished and survived and what is being done today to save that culture and preserve it for future generations.
Cost is $10. Reservations required.
