Sometimes it's so hard to stay motivated while exercising. Plenty of people start a workout, and halfway through, lose all motivation to continue. Dogs can feel the same way, especially big, fluffy giants. When the mood strikes, or should I say, when the mood changes, they feel that a nap is needed immediately, no matter where they are!

Chewy, the Newfoundland, has a bit of a stubborn streak, and sometimes he lets it get the better of him. During a recent walk with his mom, the gentle giant decided the walk was just too tiring, so the most logical course of action was to lie down in the middle of the sidewalk.

His mom tried to coax him into continuing the walk home, but the Newfie dug in his heels... err, paws and stayed put. As he lies there, Mom says, "Do I have to call someone to pick us up, Chewy? Have you decided you're done walking?" The pup's shifty eyes are enough to confirm he's not moving, so Mom had better make the call.

A few moments later, Chewy hears the family vehicle pull up in the street next to them, and the silly pup jumps up without even being told. He hops into the front seat, happy to be headed home after this tiring ordeal.

Many Viewers Respected the Pup's Commitment

This Newfoundland is a bit of a celebrity, and his videos pop up on many #FYPs on TikTok. His many fans seem to know him pretty well and have left hilarious comments about his latest walk protest, including:

"I respect this. He has boundaries. May we all live life like Chewy!"

"Yes, aren't we all done walking? It's too hot for this. Call the chauffeur, Mom."

"Love that he knows an 'Uber' will arrive and that he gets the front seat!"

Mom called him spoiled, but I call him smart! I wish someone would come pick me up in the car every time I'm too tired to finish my walk, too!
