Faith's two cats are the best of friends. One male and one female, they happily share their food, eat side by side, sleep in the same bed, and spend most of their time together. But when it comes to the window seat? That's where one of them draws the line.

The coveted window is the one thing the female cat refuses to share. On this particular afternoon, she was peacefully watching the world go by when the male cat, Pork, decided he'd like to squeeze in and enjoy the view, too. What followed was a hilarious sibling-style standoff that has viewers laughing because anyone with more than one pet knows exactly how this story ends.

Pork is lowkey scared of her and she's the RUNT

Faith shared in the caption, "Pork is lowkey scared of her, and she's the RUNT."

The video's been viewed more than 5.8 million times and has more than 1,700 comments because the whole scene is so relatable. Without even knowing which cat is which, we definitely know the one on the right is the one in charge, and the other is Pork.

As one commenter pointed out, "She's annoyed because they already share everything else. A girl just needs some alone time LOL!"

Why Do Cats Love Window Seats So Much?

To a cat, a window is like a television channel that never turns off...it's literally live entertainment all day long. According to Feliway, everything from birds and squirrels to fluttering butterflies, passing people, and rustling leaves gives cats something fascinating to watch. As the company explains, "This curiosity is a fundamental part of our cat behaviour, and windowsills provide a great platform for us to be inquisitive."

Windows also provide important mental stimulation. Feliway puts it this way from a cat's perspective: "The sights, sounds, and even the smells that waft through a slightly opened window can provide us with vital mental stimulation. Our eyes are particularly good at detecting motion, so anything flitting by...will help preoccupy our minds." This type of environmental enrichment helps prevent boredom and supports a cat's overall well-being.

Not to mention, a sunny window seat also offers warmth, a cozy place to nap, and a safe vantage point to keep an eye on everything happening indoors and out. So it's no surprise that in a multi-cat household, the best window perch quickly becomes the hottest piece of real estate in the house, and apparently, one worth fighting over.
