Remington Nelson

Jill Powers and Patrick Nelson of Bluffton announce the birth of a son, Remington “Remy” Robert-Adger Nelson, at 8:27 a.m. June 9 at Coastal Carolina Hospital.

The newborn weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces, and measured 20 and 5/8 inches.

Maternal grandparents are Nancy Powers of Byron, N.Y., and Donald Powers of Cookeville, Tenn.

Paternal grandparents are Diana Nelson of Lincolnton, Ga., and Paul Nelson of Anderson.
