Meet some local Leap Year babies
Meet a couple of newcomers who will always have something to talk about on their birthdays: Benjamin Woods and Alayha Simmons are two local babies born on Leap Day.
Baby Benjamin was born at 6:19 a.m. Feb. 29 at Coastal Carolina Hospital to parents Emy and Timothy Woods from Beaufort.
Baby Alayha was born at 12:27 p.m. at Hilton Head Hospital. She was welcomed by her parents, Latoya and Quentin Simmons of Bluffton.
