Leona Plontz

Alyssa and Nicholas Plontz of Beaufort announce the birth of a daughter, Leona Kay Plontz, at 5:48 p.m. Oct. 12 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

The newborn weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces, and measured 20 inches.

Maternal grandmother is Sharon Hannigan of Michigan.

Paternal grandparents are Traci and Phil Plontz of Michigan.
