Amy and Jimmy White of Beaufort announce the birth of a son, Jimmy Cardell White Jr., at 8:05 a.m. May 1 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

The newborn weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and measured 19 inches.

He has a sister, Julianna, 3.

Maternal grandparents are Diann and Joe Serrato of Texas.

Paternal grandparent is Danita White of San Diego.
