William Kerns

Rebecca and David Kerns of Hilton Head Island announce the birth of a son, William Ashby Kerns, at 4:33 p.m. March 11 at Hilton Head Hospital.

The newborn weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces, and measured 19 inches.

Maternal grandparents are Patricia Johns of Morgantown, W.Va., and the late William Verbosky.

Paternal grandparents are Nancy Sheffer of Hilton Head and David A. Kerns II of York, Pa.
