There’s a new leader at the Sun City Hilton Head Community Association

The Sun City Hilton Head Community Association Board of Directors announced Kimberly Burgess as the new executive director.

Burgess’ promotion to executive director comes after nearly 15 years of leadership at Sun City Hilton Head Community Association. Having served previously as the community’s director of operations and finance, Burgess has managed the day-to-day functions of the Association as well as its multimillion dollar budget.

Additionally, Burgess assumed the role of interim executive director on two occasions with the most recent term beginning in May when she navigated the Community Association through a management transition with superior guidance.

Burgess started her career with Sun City Hilton Head in the finance department as controller. In 2014, she was promoted to director of finance after earning her Professional Community Association Manager credential from Community Associations Institute.

Burgess also holds a master’s degree in accountancy from the University of South Carolina and has been a Certified Public Accountant for 26 years.
