Stephen King TV series filming soon in the Lowcountry. Here’s how you can be in it
After a successful first season in 2017, the Stephen King adaptation “Mr. Mercedes” TV show is gearing up to start filming its second season, and you could be in it.
TW Casting announced a casting call for the show on its Facebook page a couple weeks ago. It will film in Charleston starting in early February, the post said.
The series tells the story of a retired detective haunted by a killer he could never track down, according to IMDb. It is based on a trilogy of King books, collectively called Bill Hodges trilogy, according to Deadline.
The casting agency is currently collecting applications for general background work, and casting for specific roles and stand-ins would likely go up by the end of January, the post said. People who submit a general submission will receive priority consideration when larger or more specific roles are being filled throughout the season.
Those submitting general applications should take care to do so following the guidelines the casting company has issued, as that will make it easier to apply for specific roles in the future, the post said.
Those wishing to be considered should email TW Casting at TWCasting.MMS2@gmail.com, the post said.
