Winner named in Hilton Head International Piano Competition

The winner of the 2016 Hilton Head International Piano Competition is ChangYong Shin of South Korea.

He receives a prize of $15,000 as well as performance opportunities, according to an announcement from the competition, which wrapped up March 14.

Canada’s Tristan Teo earned second place and received a $10,000 prize.

Sae Yoon Chon, also of South Korea, was third. His winnings were $5,000.
