Parrotheads eagerly counting down the days ahead of home sales at a new Jimmy Buffett-themed community in Jasper County have a chance to see their idol in person later this year.

Buffett will take the stage April 6 with his Coral Reefer Band and indie singer Caroline Jones in a stop on his “I Don’t Know” tour at the North Charleston Coliseum.

Tickets are still available for the 8 p.m. show.

“There is nothing like a Jimmy Buffett concert to kick off spring,” Frank Lapsley, the coliseum’s general manager, said in a news release. “Don’t miss the party of 2018.”

Buffett and Jones’ duet “Breathe In, Breathe Out, Move On” was released on iTunes Feb. 2. They performed the song, written by Buffett after Hurricane Katrina, at a November concert to benefit victims of 2017 hurricanes.

Remaining tickets available through Ticketmaster on Thursday afternoon range from $104 to $1,424.

Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head will include about 3,000 homes on roughly 2,700 acres off U.S. 278, just a few miles from Interstate 95 in Hardeeville. The community’s sales center opens Feb. 17.
