Here’s one way to celebrate National Hot Dog Month: With Groove Town Assault

Street Meet American Tavern on Hilton Head Island will host a concert to celebrate National Hot Dog Month from 8 p.m. to midnight July 30, featuring Groove Town Assault.

The local band, which plays an ensemble of rock, funk and reggae, will take the stage at 9 p.m. Street Meet will offer a taste test of beers from SweetWater Brewing Company, which is sponsoring the show.

Street Meet is in the Port Royal Plaza Shopping Center at 95 Mathews Drive.
