Benefit concert to be held to help Bluffton musician with medical bills

A benefit concert will be held to raise money for musician J. Howard Duff from 6 to 10 p.m. Aug. 11 at The Roasting Room Lounge and Listening Room, above Corner Perk at Calhoun Street and May River Road in Bluffton.

Tim Malchak, Jordan Ross, Cheryl Christine, the Chilly Willy Band, Capt. Fuzzy Davis and John Brackett are among the musicians scheduled to perform. There will also be an auction.

Duff, a self-employed musician and music teacher who lives in Bluffton, recently had complications after cardiac surgery. He has been unable to work since. The money raised will go toward medical bills and prescriptions.

Tickets are $25. Donations will also be accepted.
