Jesse Blanco of ‘Eat It and Like It’ to host fundraiser for Hilton Head charity

Jesse Blanco of WSAV’s “Eat It and Like It” will host the 25th anniversary “Share the Bounty” fundraiser for Second Helpings on Sept. 29 at Windows on the Waterway in Hilton Head Plantation on Hilton Head Island.

Tickets are $100 and include dinner, full bar, silent auction and door prizes.

Second Helpings has been collecting and distributing surplus food in refrigerated trucks, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year for 25 years. More than 30 million pounds of food has been delivered to charities in Beaufort, Jasper and Hampton counties, serving 22,000 annually, according to a release.
