Beaufort groups to hold yard sale and fish fry
Two Beaufort groups will team up to host a yard sale and fish fry on June 4.
The event, hosted by the historic Old Commons neighborhood and the Sons of Beaufort Lodge 36, is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the lodge at 607 West St., Beaufort, according to a news release.
The yard sale starts at 8 a.m. and the fish fry is at 11 a.m. The sale will include a silent auction and will feature a painting by internationally known artist Rebecca Davenport up for bidding.
The fish fry is $9. Tables for the sale are available for $35. Proceeds from the sale’s individual table items are retained by the individual. Proceeds from table fees and the fish fry will support further renovation of the historic lodge.
