Benefit events held for Sulak, Dewey families
An instructional event for dog owners in Bluffton today will raise money for the Sulak and Dewey families.
“Bonding with Your K9” offered by Coastal K9 Training will run until 3 p.m. today at Oscar Frazier Park, at 8th Avenue and Recreation Court in Bluffton.
Grace Sulak, 14, was killed in a hit-and-run accident Saturday on I-26 in Calhoun County.
Car crash victim Emma Dewey continues to recover at a trauma center in Columbia.
The free canine clinic and benefit event is designed to help dog owners bond with their pets. Behavioral issues and the “Wrongs and Rights of Canines” also will be addressed.
All donations will be taken to the Sulak — Dewey Car Wash at Hilton Head Honda also happening today at Hilton Head Honda at 161 Fording Island Rd., Bluffton.
The canine “Raven” will be at both events for photos that can be purchased.
